I have heard and have read about fascinating qualities of the Acai Berry.
Unfortunately, a great deal of information I have come across has been by sellers, producers, distributors, etc.
Now, this doesn’t make the information “bad”, but we are looking for more viewpoints….anyone?

I am not even aware of this berry. Looking forward to learning about it.
BTW – site looks great, very inviting.

Welcome, welcome ToBeMe. As you know, we garner much thought from your blog!
This week we are particularly obsessed with the richness and healing properties of that which naturally exists.
Ok, so you haven’t heard about the Acai berry; now you have, and I chance to speculate, you will obtain even further information and come back and share.
But remember: it does not have to be limited to only the Acai berry, come back and share whatever may spark the rest of us on this journey!

Hi Everyone , Acai Berry is a source of a particular class of flavonoids called anthocyanins. The ORAC value of Acai Berry is higher than any other edible berry in the world! Acai Berry is also an excellent source of dietary fiber.I found a site which is familiar to the topic. To visit the site click here AcaiberryJuice

I just bought a bottle of organic Acai Berry juice today! Saw it at the market (Whole Foods Market) and I decided to give it a whirl. I will let you know what I think.

Herbs and herbal conconctions are powerful substances with side effects and they can adversely interact with prescription medication or certain medical conditions. I personally do not use them, unless it’s a cooking/seasoning herb, such as sage, rosemary, thyme etc.
Thorough research is essential to me. Even herbs found in common supermarket herbal teas, (e.g. lemon balm in calming/relaxant teas) can have interactions with prescription medication or certain medical conditons.
I strongly recommend looking up herbal side effects and interactions. Even those found in grocery store teas. Namaste. MW

Understood and well said MotherWinterMoon! Some teas I don’t drink because the smell makes me sneeze, that’s a fairly good indicator for me! Plus, I’m lucky that I like plain tea the best.

The Acai berry is nothing short of the perfect food that mankind has always been looking for. It is far better at nourishing us and keeping us younger than any possible combination of other foods on Earth, ounce per ounce.

What about any side effects to acai berry? or processed acai berry drinks? for instance, are some people better suited than others to the use of acai berry; i.e. spikes in migraines from use of acai berry?

Acai also has amazing Omega fats, similar to the composition of Olive Oil. When I make an Acai smoothie (which I usually have every day), I feel really satisfied, I think because of the balance of good fats. Sometimes when I make other berry smoothies I get hungry again in a short while.

I have not heard about making the smoothie. I wonder, is it possible that for some, Acai causes an adverse reaction? An allergic one?

There is some amazing research that is coming out in regards to the ability of acai to fight cancer. It’s early days yet but it looks promising. There are also a lot of scammers out there looking to make a quick buck off the next big thing … I would be wary of buying acai products that aren’t available without joining this or that. I have tried and recommend Sambazon products, they are a great company. Another website that I check regularily as it tends to feature the latest news and videos on Acai is Acai Berry Info.

I’m always into discussions on anything organic, so this read made me feel at home.
I’ll bookmark the site and subscribe to the feed!

I have just started adding Acai Pulp to my daily oatmeal. It’s a bland flavor but definitely not offensive.

An Acai Berry smoothie? Haven’t heard about that one yet… i’m sure it would be a very popular item. A bottled smoothie like Tropicana makes would be ideal!

I have been taking AcaiBerry Detox for about 3 weeks, and now I am starting to have irregular heart beats along with feeling really weak… I am unsure what is making me feel this way; however, I am not taking this product anymore. I wonder if it has to do with the extra caffeine in it… Anyone know?

Just interested if anyone out there has tried out the acai berry and colon cleanse diet at all? Seems like it’s a sound diet, but I’m not sure. There’s several websites out there like this one: Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse Diet
I’ve learned that there are some free trials out there, anyone have any experience with them? Thanks for the help in advanced.
